CBSE private forms for class 10 and class 12 board exams can be filled online till November 27, 2017 without late fee and till mid December 2017 with late fee. Now after filling the form, first query we receive is how and when admit card will be issued, where will be the exam centre, how  will the private students receive their marksheets etc.

This article contains the relevant information regarding CBSE private form. A private form is filled by the student who is not a regular candidate but allowed to take the exam under the provision of byelaws.

The Online submission of form by the candidates placed in the category NIOP (Class X), AIL/ COMPARTMENT (Class XII) and those who wish to appear for improving their performance or for an additional subject as Private candidate for the examination scheduled to be held in 2018 has been started. After filling up the form, the next thing is to get the admit card.

How to get admit card?

For the students of Delhi

Candidates who have filled their form, and eligible to give exam, can obtain their admit card from the official website of cbse i.e., www.cbse.nic.in in the month of Feb 2018.

For the students out of Delhi

Intimation letter will be uploaded on the website of CBSE in respect of eligible candidates only in the month of Jan/Feb 2018. Centre of Examination and date sheet is indicated in the intimation letter. Such candidate can thereafter collect Admit card from the allotted examination centre.

Examination centre once allotted will be final and no request for change of examination centre will be attended to. Examination centre will be allotted by the Board based on the current residential address of applicant.

After the exam, the result will be declared on the official website of CBSE during the month of May/Jun 2018.

Issue of Marksheet/ Certificate for Class X

  • Marksheet/Gradesheet will be issued to the candidates in the month of Jun/Jul 2018.
  • Only single document “Gradesheet cum qualifying certificate” is issued by CBSE.
  • Original marksheet and certificate of previous year examination is not to be surrendered to the CBSE.
  • Candidate appearing for Upgrading of Performance(Class X) and Additional subject will be issued a separate fresh Gradesheet reflecting the grades of IOP 2018 examination only.

Issue of Marksheet/ Certificate Class XII

  • Marksheet/Gradesheet will be issued to the candidates in the month of Jun/Jul 2018.
  • Original mark-sheet and certificate of previous year examination is not to be surrendered to the CBSE.
  • Candidate appearing for Improvement of Performance (Class XII) will be issued a separate fresh mark-sheet reflecting the marks of IOP 2018 examination only. No fresh Certificate will be issued to the candidate appearing under the categories IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE (CLASS XII AND ADDITIONAL SUBJECT).
  • Consolidated marksheet will be issued only to such candidate who appear and pass the Comptt. Examination in 2018.

Dispatch of original of Marksheet/Certificate Class X/XII

  1. For other than Delhi region Gradesheet is sent by CBSE to the examination centre of the candidate/to the residential address of applicant by Speed Post.
  2. For candidates of Delhi region Marksheet/Certificate is sent by CBSE to the examination centre of the candidate. Candidate can collect the document from the centre on production of original admit card.

Candidate will be examined only in the Syllabus as prescribed for the year of Examination. The Student must go through the eligibility and pass criteria as well as current curriculum and scheme of studies www.cbseacademic.in/curriculum.html carefully before filling the form.

Note: Candidate details in respect of students who have appeared in the Board examination held in 2017 examination will be auto-generated in the online system. Candidates of 2016 (or prior) will need to submit the details on the online application form.
